Is the Waterdrop WD-CTF-01 Water Filter for You?

The Waterdrop CTF-01 is an excellent choice of countertop water filter for those who want to have clean drinking water without much investment and hassle.

It is easy to set up and has a strong filtration performance as a single cartridge water filter.

Also, it delivers clean drinking water to your whole family at a speedy rate.

Personally, I like the overall features of this countertop filter, but the mineral stage is kind of redundant to me as the water already contains some minerals and they will not be filtered out unlike Reverse Osmosis, so I rather the mineral stage is replaced with other filtration media for a better filtration performance or higher capacity.

Anyhow, it does a great job in converting tap water into clean and tasty drinking water.

If you are using well water, I’ll suggest you get a multi-stage Reverse Osmosis system like Waterdrop G3P800 RO as it can remove a much larger spectrum of contaminants to ensure your family is getting the cleanest drinking water.

Besides, install a pre-filtration or whole house filtration system is always a wise move to improve the efficiency and lifespan of the point-of-use water filter.

  1. Hi,I have contacted directly waterdrop and asked them if WD-10UA 10UA-UF can remove fluoride. The didn’t confirm it and recommended me to buy the RO system. Could you please clarify where have you get these informations from. Thanks

    1. Hi Tom, thanks for your comment, the latest version of Waterdrop WD-10UA and 10UA-UF are not able to remove fluoride. The previous version features a 5-in1 filtration media with a fluoride remover stage. However, the latest version only features a 3-in-1 filtration media without the fluoride remover.

And yes, one of the best ways to remove fluoride is using a Reverse Osmosis system.

We have updated the information accordingly.
