  1. I have been going from website to website trying to decide which water cooler to get. Then I came across you, you have made it so easy for me to make up my mind. Thank you so much. I’m going to go with the Brio Moderna CLBL720SC. Now I find a store that sells it ?
    Thank you again
    Jess

  2. Thank you for the thorough comparison and review. Why is there a discrepancy in the frequency of self cleaning cycles you should perform (every 2-4 weeks) versus manual cleaning (once every 3 months)? Does this mean manual cleaning is way better and reliable than the self cleaning function? I almost made my mind about getting one of the top 2 in the list, but this bothers me a little, so I’d like to clarify it first. Thank you.

    1. Hi Antony,

The main reason for the different suggested cleaning frequency is the convenience factor.

Both self-cleaning and manual cleaning are effective to keep the machine clean and bacteria-free.

However, manual cleaning requires time and effort, so is recommended to clean once every 3 months.

In contrast, self-cleaning is a brilliant feature designed for busy individuals (or a lazy person like me) to keep the machine clean without much effort, so you can run it more frequently (why not).

You can run the self-cleaning feature every 3 months too, no worry about that.

It is just about making full use of the self-cleaning feature 😉

  3. I need to replace our self cleaning whirlpool water cooler . I don’t know whether to get the ozone brio or the Rinkmo? I don’t know if each have a stainless Steele reservoir or not but that is very important to me. I know one uses ozone and the other uses ultra violet. can you help me with this decision ?

    1. Hi Karen, both the Brio & Rinkmo come with stainless-steel reservoir tanks.

Ozone kills microorganisms, removes odor, and oxidizes harmful chemical substances using chemical reactions, while the ultra-violet inactivates microorganisms with light energy when water passes through. Both are effective technologies in eliminating harmful microorganisms like bacteria and viruses.

As both address your issues, so you may decide base on other factors like the exterior design and features (eg: Brio using push-button & Rinkmo using paddle), both models are great.

If you really can’t make up your mind, then I’ll recommend you go for Brio for its overall features and slightly cheaper too!
